Through the assimilation of theatre into music and of music into theatre, a room can be created for experience and insight. Hans-Thies Lehmann and Tore Vagn Lid, discuss music dramaturgy´s potential as medium for critical reflection.

Lehmann is Professor  of Theatre Theory at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.  Among his numerous publications is the groundbreaking book "Postdramatisches Theater" (Postdramatic Theatre) that has revolutionized the international panorama of theatre theory.

Theatre director, playwright and musician Tore Vagn Lid is Professor of Dramaturgy at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and the author of Judasevangeliet, the last part of Vagn Lid´s acclaimed “sorrow-game”-trilogy, to be staged at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet during the festival.
