With philosopher Alain Badiou, stage director Tore Vagn Lid, Academy-coordinator Heloisa Amaral and students from the Norwegian Academy of Theatre.
Alain Badiou is a renowned French intellectual. Founder of the International Centre for Contemporary Philosophy, he appears often in the media to discuss current political issues, notably those related to globalization. In addition to critical essays on politics, arts and science, Badiou has also published a number of novels and plays in which we recognize his philosophical thought. With his re-intepretation of Plato´s dialogues, The Republic of Plato, as a starting point, Badiou leads an informal discussion with professors and students from the Norwegian Academy of Theatre on how novels, plays and art writing can be a creative place to articulate and stage philosophical ideas.
